words speak to the mind, images enter directly into the heart
I invite you to enter into my world of images and visions. There are two threads to my work. My art is concerned with consciousness and the vast dimensions of being extending beyond our everyday world. I have always drawn and painted and made photographs. I seek to depict and interpret the shimmering shapes and mysterious faces and landscapes that I see around me, and I am fascinated by the repeating shapes and patterns of nature, and by intense colours that speak to the heart. I long to express the beauty and truth of existence and to uplift the soul through my imagery and my poems.
I am also a holistic healer with a lifelong interest in healing the mind, body and spirit – naturopath, osteopath, light healer and regressionist.
For a while these two threads ran parallel. Then they began to merge and interweave to form the rich and colourful tapestry that you see here. All the different patterns, colours, styles and ideas are aspects of the same theme, so enjoy whatever resonates with you.
