These tilepieces – inspired by stained glass, rose windows, Islamic tile patterns, and Hindu and Buddhist mandalas –  explore the relationship between the part and the whole, the individual and the universe, matter and spirit, and reflect the underlying symmetry and interconnectedness of all things. By gazing at them the viewer is enabled to access progressively deeper levels of consciousness and to experience a sense of oneness with the all that is.
